In recent years, there has been increasing demand by the general public for natural and organic food products. One company that has filled this demand is Sunflower Farmers Markets, a Denver-area chain of grocery stores carrying organic and natural products at low prices.
As vice president of human resources for this innovative company, Danielle Boyd is responsible for recruiting and training new employees for the markets, managing employee relations and orienting all new hires on the company’s policies and procedures.
Ms. Boyd, who earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Florida State University, brings more than 17 years of experience in corporate training and human resources to her role with Sunflower Flowers Markets. Prior to assuming her current position, Ms. Boyd was employed by a number of major restaurant and grocery companies, including serving as the director of corporate HR for Wild Oats and as a corporate trainer for Boston Market.
Away from work, Ms. Boyd relaxes by participating in outdoor activities and spending time with her three children.
